A case has been filed against Sakshi TV management, revealed Kadapa Chinnachowk police station officials.
It is known that a key witness in Viveka muder case Rangaiah died a couple of days back. Following his death, Sakshi TV put a scrolling that Rangaiah died due to police beatings. This was repeated in scrolling multiple times.
The Kadapa police said a case was filed saying that the scrolling degraded the sincerity of police. Following this, a case was filed on Sakshi TV’s management, the police shared.
Since the death of Rangaiah under suspicious conditions as per his wife, the police have decided to renew their investigation and find links between the death of key witnesses in Viveka case.
During such a time, the case could turn out to be a headache for Sakshi TV.
Meanwhile, repostmortem was conducted on Rangaiah’s body in Pulivendula Bhakarapuram graveyard. It was held in the presence of forensic experts from Tirupati and Mangalagiri and other doctors.
As his wife raised suspicions for the cause of his death, the police did a second post-mortem. They checked if the body had any marks due to beating.
