In the last few days, YSR Congress brought recently retired Cricketer Ambati Rayudu and is making him make anti-TDP and Pro-YSR Congress comments. He is also making comments about how former cricketer MSK Prasad sidelined him during his tenure as the Chief Selector.
There are rumors that Rayudu will contest the coming elections on the YSRCP ticket.
Meanwhile, there is propaganda by YSR Congress social media teams and I-PAC.
According to that, MSK Prasad the Selection Committee Chairman at that time intentionally troubled Rayudu and ignored him in tour selection because Rayudu is a Kapu while MSK himself is a Kamma.
This conspiracy theory first cropped up before the 2019 elections to create Kamma – Kapu rift. They even linked MSK Prasad to Chandrababu Naidu to hit the prospects of TDP. But TDP ignored it back then to pay the price.
Now, the same theory is back again to create Kamma – Kapu rift.
Here is a twist to this episode. MSK Prasad is not a Kamma. He is of Brahmin community.
Even now, there is no effort from TDP to successfully counter this propaganda.
At this juncture, ABN RK has invited MSK Prasad to his studio for this week’s Open Heart with RK program. The promo is out and we can see a mention of the caste as well.
In all probability, this program will bust propaganda that MSK is a Kamma. ABN is doing a big favor for TDP here. Something the party should realize and proactively counter such false propaganda on its own.
