Telangana political landscape is going to heat up with the arrival of another political party, Telangana Rakshana Sena which is launched by Kalvakuntla Kavitha. Now that she has managed to secure TRS party name, she’s bound to go hard in the coming days.
It is becoming increasingly evident that Kavita is aiming to split the BRS loyalist base but going after the party’s legacy name TRS and then reprimanding KCR and KTR at whatever capacity she can.
Whatever voting that is caused by, Kavita is only going to affect the BRS as it would take away a marginal portion of the anti incumbency vote. This is not going to be a good outcome for BRS at any level. Moreover, Kavita isn’t backing down from directly taking on KCR and KTR at a public level.
So the only way left for KCR and KTR to reprimand and potentially play down Kavitha is to directly take on her political outfit and try to make her irrelevant in the public’s eye.
In Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan was very dismissive of Sharmila, and this ended up costing him big time as YCP didn’t just end up losing the election, but Congress secured 5% votes which is the highest since 2014.
Considering the smart political activity of both KCR and KTR, there is every chance that Kavitha might have to face the heat from her own father and brother sooner than later.
