Kavitha KCR

A letter reportedly written by MLC Kavitha to her father, Former CM KCR, has become a Sensation in Telangana Political Circles now.

KTR has responded to this letter and said he would speak on it, but did not deny it as fake. So, we can assume that the letter is indeed true.

Kavitha started the letter by praising the recent Public meeting of KCR, but later questioned the party’s policies on various issues.

Over the last few days, there were rumors that Kavitha, just like Harish Rao, is upset about not getting her rightful position in the party.

KCR or Kavitha has to leak this letter to the media since they are father and daughter.

KCR leaking it is not possible. There is a chance that Kavitha may have leaked it to the media, indicating that things are not well between them. So, this letter appears to be a Revolt.

In the Silver Jubilee meeting of the BRS recently, KCR and KTR’s pictures have been prominently and equally displayed. There are no pictures of any other leader on the backdrop of the dais.

Since then, people take that as an indication that KTR will lead the party next and is likely to be the next CM face.

So, the timing of this letter also aligns.

If this issue becomes bigger, we may see the revolt of Harish Rao as well in the days to come.

Deciding the next leader of a party and that too in a regional party, is very critical, and that should never happen in the Opposition.

KCR could have comfortably announced KTR as his heir any time between 2014 and 2023.

Back then, KTR’s popularity was at its peak. Also, KCR is at his peak. Nobody could have even thought of a revolt.

But KCR wasted time just because of his overconfidence.

Ever since the defeat in 2023, KCR has been completely confined to the Farm House and is trying to project KTR as the Face of the Party.

BRS, or for that matter, will already have lots of problems in the Opposition. To face the internal issues is the worst headache to have.

The biggest problem with this issue is that the public and media attention will completely shift from the Government failures to this topic.

The Ruling party will also try its best to keep the issue alive.

It has to be seen how KCR will handle this issue.
