Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had announced another farmer friendly welfare scheme. From tomorrow, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to give 24X7 free power to all the agricultural uses in the state on a pilot basis.

This is one of the slew of schemes being rolled out by the KCR government to impress the farmers. Earlier the government also announced Free Fertilizers scheme. Under this scheme, every farmer will get 4000 Per Acre in a season.
Thus 8000 Rupees will be given for every acre in the state in a year. The government claims that there are One Crore acres being cultivated in Telangana and 8000 per year will mean that the expense will arrive at 8000 Crore per year.
