Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao met Prime Minister Narendra Modi a short while ago in Delhi. KCR who is criticized for being arrogant with the center, had spread out a list of demands to the Prime Minister. The 21 demands put before Modi also included the Special Status to Telangana and tax concessions for industries in the state, a demand which is being asked by the other Telugu State.
Among the other demands, NTPC for Telangana with 4000 MW capacity, industrial corridor between Hyderabad and Warangal are noted ones. After the meeting, Telangana MP Vinod said that Modi was very impressed with the Intensive Household Survey conducted recently in the state. It is said that KCR extended the official invitation to the Prime Minister to be the Chief Guest of World Metropolis Congress which will take place in Hyderabad in the next month.
