Though the two chief ministers met several times in the last two years, this is for the first time that they are sharing the table with the central government. But the no consensus was arrived on crucial issues like objections over the Telangana Projects by AP and Telangana demanding for a share in the water diverted from the Godavari to Krishna using Pattiseema.
Apex Council decided to deploy Telemetry devices to measure the water being used for various projects so that there can not be a controversy. Also, they have agreed to set up Committee of engineers with Central engineers. The Report to be sent to Brijesh Kumar Tribunal which is entitled to finalize the allocation of water between both the states, according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.
