KCR offers help to AP?

KCR, Telangana Bhavan, andhra bhavan, Delhi, Chandrababu naidu, AP Bhavan, Nizam land, Central government, State governmentTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao have offered to help Andhra Pradesh to construct a new AP Bhavan in Delhi. However this comes with a frill. KCR is laying stake on the existing AP Bhavan in Delhi. The land belong to Hyderabad State in 1953. The Government of India took it from Nizam.

KCR says that all the Nizam assets belongs to Telangana state. On this grounds, KCR is demanding Central government to allot AP Bhavan to Telangana. Since the building is constructed with funds in United state, Telangana government offered to help the construction of new AP Bhavan for Navyandhra.

He urged Central government to allot land for the new AP Bhavan in Delhi. Currently, AP Bhavan is used by both the state governments after the state bifurcation. This is likely to emerge as another contentious issue between both the Telugu States. We will have to see how Center behaves in this tussle.
