The news of craving out more districts spread like a wild fire and created political tremors across the Telangana state. Suddenly out of no where fresh demands sprouted and there were protests as well opposing few districts formation. It is said that KCR wants to increase the number of districts in Telangana to 24 as 6 is fvourable number to KCR according to numerology (2+4=6).
According to trusted sources in the Government, KCR intentionally gave the leak of the new district formation to media to gauge the reactions from the people. However with the sudden backlash, the new state CM backed out of the idea. KCR himself announced the media that there is no proposal to increase districts count very soon and he will be taking up the issue only after Assembly segments delimitation is complete in January. The Election Commission towards the end of the year will start working on increase the number of Assembly segments in both the Telugu states.
