Bengaluru is the biggest IT destination in the country. Few years ago when Bengaluru was full and could not accommodate new companies in the city and developed Mysore as the next software destination. Telangana government wants to replicate similar success.

After Hyderabad is being over-crowded, Telangana government is planning new IT hubs at the outskirts of the city. Infosys, in February 2016, will be inaugurating its largest campus at Pocharam in Hyderabad with a capacity of 25,000 seats.
The state government is planning to expand IT to potential Tier-II cities like Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Khammam. The IT department is already in talks with few domestic IT giants to invest in Telangana’s Tier-II centres.
