
United Breweries announced on Monday, January 20, that it has decided to resume beer supplies to the Telangana Beverages Corporation Limited (TGBCL) with immediate effect.
This decision follows “constructive discussions” with TGBCL, during which the corporation assured the company that issues regarding pricing and outstanding payments would be addressed promptly.

The company clarified that this move is an interim decision made in the interest of consumers, workers, and stakeholders.
United Breweries emphasized that while they are resuming supplies, they will continue to engage with TGBCL and monitor the situation.

Previously, on January 8, United Breweries had suspended beer supplies to Telangana due to disputes over pricing with TGBCL.
However, following the recent assurances, the company has decided to restart its beer supply to the state, with expectations that TGBCL will resolve the issues in a timely manner.
