Well, the inevitable has happened as the Telangana government under the leadership of Chief minister Revanth Reddy has decided to remove Konda Surekha from her position in the cabinet.
Endowment minister Konda Surekha has been removed from concerned ministry effective immediately, and this was communicated to the governor by chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
This was officially communicated by the concerned authorities a short while back, and this will be one of the major political development in Telangana.
CM Revanth Reddy has decided to drop Konda Surekha, Minister, from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect. A recommendation to this effect has been sent to the Governor already.
Chief Minister has also decided remove another rebelling MLA G. Chinna Reddy as Vice Chairman, Telangana Planning Board with immediate effect.
In place of Dr. G. Chinna Reddy, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as Vice Chairman, Telangana Planning Board. This will go down as one of the big power moves made by chief minister Revanth Reddy.
This is largely due to the earlier commotion that was set in motion by Surekha by speaking against Congress command, while her daughter Sushmita directly spoke against chief minister Revanth. The consequences are pretty strong now.
