The pending work on Kamal Haasan’s Indian 3, under the direction of Shankar has already restarted and now exciting rumors regarding the project are going viral on social media.
According to strong speculations, a major portion of Indian 3 is set in the pre-independence era, in which the story revolves around Senapathy’s father played by Kamal Haasan and his mother played by Kajal Aggarwal.
Initially, director Shankar requested a 25-day shoot from Lyca Productions. However, it seems Lyca Productions did not approve it and asked Shankar to prepare the final version using the available footage. Also, Lyca Productions agreed to spend fully on the VFX without any compromise.
Furthermore, there is information that Kamal Haasan will start his dubbing for the film soon and a maximum of 2–3 days of shooting might take place; however, reportedly, there is already enough footage for Indian 3.
After the mixed response to Vijay Deverakonda’s recently released Ranabaali, which was also a film set in the pre-independence period, fans fear that Indian 3 might also fail to meet expectations.
Meanwhile, many people on social media are encouraging director Shankar suggesting that there is huge positivity surrounding Indian 3 despite the failure of Indian 2.
Therefore, they feel Shankar should use this momentum and deliver a solid film. They also believe that if Indian 3 emerges as a surprise blockbuster, it will help Kamal Haasan and Shankar make a solid comeback.
Ultimately, all of these are just social media speculations and there are still no official updates on this news. Hence, it remains to be seen how Indian 3 is going to take shape and whether it emerges as a surprise blockbuster upon its release.
