BRS working president KTR has strongly criticised the Congress party after it released its list of star campaigners for the Jubilee Hills constituency.
The highlight of the Congress list was the inclusion of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender. Addressing the media, KTR questioned the moral values of Congress for featuring his name.
He reminded that Danam Nagender had originally won as a BRS MLA. When an inquiry was initiated by the Speaker, the defecting MLAs claimed they had not switched parties.
KTR expressed anger that those unsure of their party affiliation are now being presented as Congress star campaigners. “Do they have any morals or values?” he lashed out.
He further said that such MLAs should confidently declare their political allegiance and contest in by-elections rather than shifting loyalties secretly.
When a reporter pointed out that the decision was made by the All India Congress Committee, KTR retorted sharply, calling it the “All India Corrupt Committee.”
