Two-time MP from Guntur, Galla Jayadev is withdrawing from politics. Galla who is an industrialist was subjected to severe harassment in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government.
Known to be a soft-spoken person with no controversies, Galla was vexed with these revenge politics and decided to stay away.
Sources say that he already informed about the same to the TDP high command.
He has become inactive in politics and also stayed away from ground activities during Lokesh’s Padayatra and during Chandrababu’s arrest.
Galla with his good oratory skills made a mark on the public especially those in the Educated Class. That is the reason why he won even in Jagan’s wave in 2019.
Sadly, his political career is coming to an end due to Vendetta Politics.
There are speculations in the media that former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal is interested in this seat and already started lobbying.
There have been many rumors about Lagadapati’s political re-entry since 2014 but nothing happened. So, it has to be seen if it will be true this time.
Lagadapati is a money bag and also has extensive relations in Guntur too.
