It is being reported that the BJP leadership has developed a comprehensive blueprint for the upcoming general elections and state assembly elections. The blueprint includes plans for significant changes in the central cabinet, as well as national and state party offices.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Party National President JP Nadda, Party General Secretary Santhosh, and other senior leaders have held extensive discussions at Prime Minister Modi’s residence to prepare the roadmap.
According to the reports, several ministers are expected to resign from their positions after a meeting on July 3rd, which could lead to a cabinet reshuffle. The reshuffle may not be limited to just Cabinet Ministers, as there is a possibility of changes in state Ministers as well, with some poor-performing ministers being replaced.
It is also mentioned that this time, technocrats like Ashwini Vaishnav may not find a place in the reorganization. The BJP has 8 MPs from Chhattisgarh, one of the states where elections are scheduled this year, and it is speculated that one of them may be inducted into the cabinet.
Furthermore, considering Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s loss of place in the cabinet in 2022 and Prime Minister Modi’s mention of Pasmanda Muslims, there are expectations that a minority MP may be given a chance as a minister.
Regarding the states where elections are being held, various formulas have been formulated, and important changes related to Telangana are being discussed.
The groundwork is being prepared to report to Prime Minister Modi upon his return from America and make final decisions accordingly. Discussions in this regard have taken place at Modi’s residence on Wednesday night.
