
The Guntur Court has given 14-day remand to rowdysheeter Borugadda Anil Kumar for threatening Guntur Pedakakani mandal surveyor Mallikarjuna Rao.
Borugadda bought land from Shyam Singh in Koppuravuru village in 2016. He approached surveyor Mallikarjuna Rao to measure the 3.50 acre land he bought and give a certificate.

The surveyor told him that he can get the land measured and get a certificate through Mee-Seva. But Borugadda got into an argument with the surveyor and threatened him.
He warned of dire consequences if Mallikarjuna Rao did not survey the land and give him a pass book. At the time, the police booked a case in Pedakakani and filed a chargesheet in the Court.

But he did not show up after being given notices. Finally, the Court ordered for his arrest. Right now, Borugadda is in Anantapur district jail in remand. The Pedakakani police filed a PT warrant in Guntur Court to help them show Borugadda as arrested and the judge agreed.
He was brought under bandobasth and presented before Additional Junior Civil Judge Court. The judge imposed remand till June 3 following which he was shifted to Rajamahendravaram central jail.
