Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu after finishing his China tour, headed to Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley with various issues plaguing the state and brought to his notice about the pending funds release. On this occasion, Naidu asked Jaitley about the Special Status and other tax incentives to the state.

Jaitley went on to say very soon Niti Aayog is going to come up with another report about Special Status and the tax incentivies. Interestingly, Modi asked Niti Aayog to prepare a road map to help AP more than an year ago. The state is asking for that report but the center is refusing to give it to the government.
Recently an RTI application to Niti Aayog revealed that it can not be shared on the grounds of public interests. All these suggest that there is no report at all prepared by Niti Aayog. This second report is another farce to buy time. Jaitley promised to release funds for Polavaram by this month end through NABARD.
