Veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister, LK Advani, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Hospital in Delhi last night due to illness.
As per the latest reports, his condition is currently stable and he is under constant observation by the doctors.

Recently, Advani was conferred with the prestigious Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian honour in the country. In March, president Droupadi Murmu conferred him with this award at his residence.
After winning the recent elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid a visit to Advani at his residence. Modi considers Advani as one of his political mentors.

Advani is one of the co-founders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the Union Home Minister from 1998 to 2004. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Deputy Prime Minister of the country.
He was BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate in the 2009 elections but the NDA bloc lost those elections to the UPA.

Veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani has been discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
He was admitted last night following some old age-related complications.
The 96-year-old leader had been kept under the observation of doctors.
