TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh went to Vishakapatnam today and met the family of Doctor Sudhakar who passed away recently due to Cardiac arrest. Sudhakar came to the limelight after a video of him exposing the lack of PPE in Government hospitals went viral.
Later, the Government suspended him and later branded him as a mad man and was even arrested. The issue landed up in the High Court which has ordered a CBI inquiry into the issue. Lokesh consoled the family and assured them of all possible support from TDP.
He took the hands of Sudhakar’s family members in his hands and assured them he will be for them forever. “Human Touch is very important for any leader in politics. The touch will give the people much-needed confidence about the leadership. The touch will make the affected feel like he is one of their family members,” Political experts say.
“This has been a positive change in Lokesh since the 2019 election. He has been reaching out to the distressed families in the party supporters and various other groups. Besides the political points, it will enhance the image of Lokesh in the people. He should be doing more of this after the pandemic. Only staying in the middle of the people can help a leader grown. This is a much-needed positive change as far as TDP is concerned,” they add.
