Long Overdue, No More Air Suvidha Pain In Indian Airports

Air Suvidha, a self-declaration form for International arriving passengers was introduced when Covid was at its peak, aiming to track people landing in Indian airports. With normal life back, is it was still a mandatory for flyers to India to submit the form which many passengers find it painful. It’s long overdue but finally Indi cancelled it.

Following the announcement, people flying into India from abroad will no longer need to fill out the Air Suvidha form from November 21-22 midnight and will also not be required to take an RT-PCR COVID-19 test.

Passengers, including children of five years and above, no longer required to get RTPCR tests before boarding a flight back to India.

Also, it is no longer mandatory for international arrivals to be vaccinated. It is known that a week ago Indian government made wearing masks optional for passengers flying domestic and international flights as the covid situation is under control now.

It is travellers self responsibility to self-monitor their health post-arrival.
