The broken factions of Shiv Sena and NCP have Seven MPs in the Parliament. If BJP fails to win Maharashtra, these parties and their MPa are likely to go back to their Parent Parties.
The Simple Majority in the Lok Sabha is 272. BJP is only 240 seats in the house and is majorly dependent on the TDP and the JDU for its survival. With the allies, NDA is currently at 293.

If the Seven MPs pull out after the Maharashtra elections, the number will come down to 286. That will make the NDA at the Center dangerously placed. If either of TDP and JDU pulls out, the Government will fall.
If Maharashtra is lost, BJP will be in a fix in Delhi as well. Moreover, there are reports that RSS is not supporting the BJP in this election.

Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s Bail Cancellation Petition has come to hearing today. The case got transferred to another Bench as Justice Sanjeev Kumar said ‘Not Before Me‘.
The petition will come before Justice Abhay Okha on December 2nd. The Results of Maharashtra Elections will be out on November 24th.
