Telugu Desam Party announced Mahasena Rajesh as the candidate of P Gannavaram. Chandrababu Naidu wanted to give chance to educated and active SC leaders this time and gave a chance to Rajesh and Kolikapudi Srinivas Rao.
But then, Mahasena Rajesh‘s past videos where he made some objectionable comments on Hindus became viral on Social Media by YSR Congress. Rajesh should have stayed low but he continued to make videos hitting his distractors.
He should have apologized for remarks he made years ago and remain silent until the heat on Social Media subsided. But he did not do.
He announced withdrawal in the heat of the moment. Probably, he expected party to insist him to continue. But if the party did so when a controversy is booming, Blue Media and YSR Congress will build a propaganda over it. So, Chandrababu handed over the seat to Janasena and took Amalapuram.
Rajesh realised the mistake and tried to lobby for the ticket but it was too late. Even during his lobbying, he continued doing YouTube videos and social media posts which kept him in the limelight of his enemies. It only backfired on him.
Social Media is a bull. When the bull is angry and violent, it is better to stay low for some time and escape from it. The bull would automatically become silent. But Rajesh did otherwise.
Meanwhile, Janasena announced P Gannavaram ticket to Giddi Satyanarayana.
