Malayalam popular actor Suresh Gopi, the BJP candidate, has won the Lok Sabha Thrissur seat in Kerala by around 75,000 votes. He has become the first-ever MP from BJP in Kerala and has made history.
V S Sunil Kumar from LDF is trailing in the second position, followed by K Muraleedharan from UDF in the third position.
Suresh Gopi expressed that the victory was inevitable, suggesting the implications of his win will be felt across the state in future elections.
He emphasized his commitment to work for the development of not only his Thrissur constituency but for the entire state, portraying himself as an MP for all of Kerala.
Expressing gratitude towards BJP leader Amit Shah for endorsing him as a candidate in Thrissur in 2023, he referred to Narendra Modi as his “political god” and hailed Shah and Modi as his superheroes.
Despite being associated with the BJP, he maintained respect for leaders from various political backgrounds, including Indira Gandhi, Narasimha Rao, Morarji Desai, and others.
Moreover, Suresh Gopi anticipates that the people’s priority in future elections will be choosing the candidate who would be most beneficial for them.
He expressed his dedication to carrying Thrissur, which has been entrusted to him by the people, on his head.
