Former BRS Minister and MLA Malla Reddy has strongly criticised the Revanth Reddy government, calling it “worse than Covid.” He said that farmers still support KCR, and the youth continue to back KTR.
Malla Reddy claimed that since the Congress came to power in Telangana, several projects have stalled, and progress has slowed down. According to him, the real estate sector is the worst affected, with almost no sales of plots or apartments. Farmers, he added, are unable to sell land even for family needs like marriages.
“During Covid, money was in circulation, and realty and business activity continued. But under Revanth’s rule, everything has come to a standstill,” he said.
The MLA recalled that Hyderabad was once compared to Singapore, with investors from across India showing interest. Now, he believes the city is facing a downturn. Malla Reddy urged people to unite and defeat the Congress in the upcoming elections.
He also said that BRS leaders will campaign across Jubilee Hills to highlight the government’s failures. “People have realised that Congress has cheated them,” he stated.
With the Jubilee Hills by-election date expected to be announced on Monday, political activity in the constituency is already gaining momentum.
