Yesterday, Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri, along with a few of his cabinet ministers.

The opposition party BRS alleged that Revanth and his fellow upper caste ministers had disrespected Bhatti, who hails from a lower caste. BRS leader Balka Suman held a press meet, condemning Revanth’s alleged insult against Bhatti. Additionally, Telangana BSP President RS Praveen Kumar also criticized Revanth for the alleged disrespect towards Bhatti.

The video went viral on social media within no time and became a topic of discussion in national media channels as well.

Today, Bhatti addressed the issue and tried to end the controversy. Speaking at an event, he clarified that he intentionally chose to sit on the footstool and that no one had ordered him to do so.

Bhatti added that he holds key positions in the government and no one in the government can insult him. He thanked BRS for its concern but said that no one tried to insult him. This statement came in as a shocker to the BRS party.
