
Many people remember the name Mushti Srinivasa Rao, especially those who have dealt with Margadarshi Chit Funds. Srinivasa Rao, a Vijayawada-based lawyer who once received honors, has recently become the center of controversy after being detained by the task force police for operating a poker club from his home.
During the previous government, then-Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kantirana Tata showed great respect for this lawyer, even reportedly standing up when Mushti came to meet him. However, the tables have turned, as Kantirana is now attached to the DIG office without any significant posting.

Mushti Srinivasa Rao played a crucial role in the serious allegations against Margadarshi Chits, holding a press conference alongside the Vijayawada Police Commissioner. However, the situation has since taken a dramatic turn. Sixteen people were arrested for gambling at Mushti’s house, leading to his flight from the scene. Eventually, under pressure, he surrendered to the police.
Srinivasa Rao had previously lodged a complaint against Margadarshi Chits, claiming they failed to pay him despite completing all payment terms. In reality, it appears that Srinivasa Rao did not submit the required surety bonds as per Margadarshi’s rules.

His actions led to a legal case against the company, accompanied by a press conference with the Vijayawada Police Commissioner. This situation highlights how circumstances can change drastically, and the truth often comes to light with time.
