He returned from the USA and immediately became an MLA. His father KP Konda Reddy is a four-time MLA in Markapuram. His father-in-law is also a former MLA.

Closed Slates factory, Veligonda Project, and the Drinking water problem are the biggest problems of the constituency.

MLA’s brother Krishna Mohan Reddy works in the constituency and has become the shadow MLA. He has become a liability for the MLA in the constituency.

Janke Venkata Reddy who was YSRCP MLA in 2014 was set aside in 2019. He is pressurizing the Party High Command for the 2024 ticket.

Kunduru scored over Janke with his money power in 2019. Janke was promised an MLC but was not given one. He is expecting the ticket now.

Venna Hanuma Reddy and Peddireddy Surya Prakash Reddy who have following of their own in the constituency are also expecting ticket.

Too many aspirants and no clarity from the party’s high command are confusing the cadre.
