MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha met with Singareni Jagruthi leaders at her residence in Banjara Hills. It was attended by Jagruthi leaders from Singareni region. The latest developments and activities to be taken up by Jagruthi were among discussion points.
Following the political storm raised by her letter to father and BRS chief KCR, this meeting has gained prominence. Many are waiting to see what announcements Kavitha will make in the coming days.
Realizing that the ‘letter’ will become a weapon in the hands of the opposition parties, it is said KCR got into damage control. He got MP Deevekonda Damodara Rao and lawyer Gandra Mohana Rao to mediate with his daughter.
It is said that Kavitha too expressed her opinions to them. The talk is that KCR spoke to his daughter over phone and asked her not to make any hasty decisions.
But the big talking point is Kavitha’s meeting with Jagruthi leaders, merely a day after her father and BRS chief tried to appease her. There is talk that Kavitha is going to take suggestions from her followers regarding her political future.
At a time when rumours are rife that Kavitha could launch her own party, have the appeasement talks failed? Will Kavitha go her way disregarding her father?
It has to be noted that Kavitha was welcomed by Jagruthi members as she landed in Hyderabad from the US. They raised slogans about her becoming CM. If one puts two and two together, Kavitha surely seems to have her own plans. Time to wait and watch!
