However, now, in the latest scenario, a whistleblower’s lawsuit against Twitter might just be the thing that Elon Musk could be looking for!

Incidentally, both CNN and The Washington Post reported widely about Zatco’s claims. Not surprisingly, Twitter maintains that the can of worms was thrown open by a bitter ex-employee who was sacked for bad performance.

However, the timing of the lawsuit by Zatco, or ‘Mudge’ as he is popularly known, has come in handy for the Tesla chief. Just as Elon Musk was planning to withdraw his offer to buy Twitter, Twitter sued him for not going ahead with his offer.

Zatko, who happens to be an ethical hacker-turned-cybersecurity executive, had previously worked with Google and The Department of Defense. Now, the US judges are looking at various allegations made against Twitter, Elon Musk and his legal team are hoping to find enough reason to terminate the deal.

Meanwhile, Twitter is trying to ensure that the deal happens or get Elon Musk to shell out billions for the breakup. But Elon Musk seems to be riding on Zatko’s timely lawsuit to make sure that the deal does not happen, as his company has realized that the offer was too steep.
