We rarely witness women leaders in prominent positions, not just in Telugu politics but across the country. This time, however, Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet has breathed new life into the party at both the state and central levels.
Dr. Byreddy Shabari, who won from TDP in the challenging Nandyal constituency with a record margin of 111,975 votes against YSRCP candidate MP Pocha Brahmananda Reddy, delivered her maiden speech in Parliament today, and we must say, she literally rocked the floor.
Whether it was her calm and composed nature while stating facts about Jagan and YSRCP or her crystal-clear speech in English, she is sure to impress the educated crowds.
This is a welcome change, and both Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh should be appreciated for supporting a woman leader in the cutthroat world of politics.
