A mysterious virus is causing concern in Hyderabad as people are being hospitalized with symptoms like breathing difficulties and low oxygen levels. Although initially suspected to be swine flu or COVID-19, tests yielded negative results for both.
According to the Times Of India report, The exact identity of this virus remains unknown. Patients of all ages, including adults, children, and those with weakened immunity, are showing similar symptoms.
Over the past two to three months, there has been a rising number of cases with these symptoms. Medical experts mention that these cases are currently relatively infrequent, and patients are recovering within five days.
While swine flu cases are more prevalent in states like Maharashtra and Karnataka, their occurrence is lower in Hyderabad. The emergence of this new virus among individuals initially suspected of swine flu is a cause for concern.
