Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and one of the biggest ally of BJP, Chandra Babu Naidu had underplayed UPA allies winning majority seats on Monday released by-poll results.Speaking to media in Delhi, Chandra Babu said to media that by-polls reflect the true mood of the nation but are influenced by several local factors existing there. Naidu even went on to cite the example of his own state where the opposition party YSR Congress went on to win more than 95% of by-polls but fell flat in the main elections.
It is known that Congress and its allies managed to win 11 of the total 14 Assembly seats in the recent by-polls. These 14 Assembly seats are spread over 4 states of the nation – Punjab, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Congress which bit dust very badly in the recent elections did everything to win this election.
