Telugu Desam Party has registered horrendous results in the Nellore Municipal Corporation elections recently. Party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed the results and has taken some stunning actions. He has suspended some leaders in the party.
He has accused them of joining hands with Minister Anil Kumar Yadav to hand over one-sided victory to Nellore. He also reprimanded some senior leaders for being lethargic in the elections. “I know how to resurrect the Party. I am going to infuse youth,” he said.
Naidu‘s actions have come as a surprise to everyone including the party leaders. Suspending leaders in the Opposition is some thing unheard of. Moreover, Naidu is known for indecisiveness always and so this sudden action comes as a surprise.
But then, this proactiveness is what that is extremely needed to resurrect the Telugu Desam Party.
