Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to take BJP at the Center head on head. The Chief Minister has no idea of pulling out from the NDA government but is trying to corner BJP by reaching out the fellow coalition partners Shiromani Akali Dal and Shiv Sena. Babu is demanding that a coordination committee of the coalition partners should be formed which will have a say in policy matter.
This committee used to be in Vajpayee regime but is not present in the current NDA government as BJP enjoys absolute power at the Center. Chandrababu will very soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union ministers, including finance minister Arun Jaitley and home minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi and later meet all the coalition partners.
There is tremendous pressure on Chandrababu Naidu to pull out from the Central government but such move will leave Center unaffected as they have majority needed on their own. On the other side, experts say Center will do something to please coalition partners since they need their support to pass several crucial bills in Rajya Sabha. Also partners pulling out will send wrong signals about the center in people and media.
