Don’t Trouble the Trouble: FaFa Losing His Credibility

Fahadh Faasil in Don't Trouble the Trouble

Fahadh Faasil’s debut Telugu film as a lead, Don’t Trouble the Trouble, directed by Shashank Yeleti was released in theatres on 2nd October and has received disastrous responses from audiences and critics.

Many viewers, after watching the film, have claimed that although the plot of Don’t Trouble the Trouble was unique, due to the poor screenplay and draggy narration, the film ended up as a below average watch.

Consequently, with terrible word of mouth, Don’t Trouble the Trouble crashed at the box office. According to reports, the Day-2 collection of Don’t Trouble the Trouble is below 1 crore in India and many screens that were allocated for Don’t Trouble the Trouble have already started replacing it with other movies.

Even though Fahadh Faasil is one of the finest performers in South Indian cinema and has also been part of many successful pan-Indian projects, since 2021, other than Aavesham, none of his solo lead films have emerged as successful ventures, and almost 7 lead films of him ended up as terrible failures.

In response to the continuous failures of Fahadh Faasil, many trade experts are suggesting that he needs to be more careful with his script selection for his lead films. They suggest that if Fahadh Faasil’s failure streak continues, he will soon lose his market and will also lose his reputation.

Additionally, they note that Fahadh Faasil has a huge fan base in South India, but he is wasting his potential with poor script choices and they believe that if he does a solid film with a good script, it will do wonders at the box office.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen how Fahadh Faasil is going to shape his lineup following these back to back failures and whether he will reclaim his lost market with his upcoming films.
