Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is doing all that needed to woo the government employees in the state. After increasing the retirement age and giving fitment on par with surplus budget Telangana, the Chief Minister now declared that the 80 days strike period of APNGOs during the state bifurcation as Special Holidays.
Employees have lost these days as Leaves earlier and those who do not have enough leaves got the Loss of Pay. Due to this some employees even lost Promotions and Retirement benefits. This move of the government will benefit each employee to the extent of 50000 to 2 Lakhs.
This step of the government may lead to legal problems as well but Chandrababu decided it in the favour of employees. Chandrababu Naidu is known to be a hard task master for government employees in his previous tenures. Many believe that employees played a crucial part in Naidu’s downfall in 2004. Looks like Naidu do not want those mistakes to happen again!
