Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister chandrababu Naidu was termed as a hard task master in his previous regime. Many say government employees unable to bear the heavy work burden under Naidu played crucial part in his defeat in 2004 elections. After coming to power again in 2014. Naidu is being very liberal with them giving sops like like extension of retirement age from 58 years to 60 and implementation of 43 per cent fitment last month.
However this liberal attitude is proving to be costly as employees are refusing to shift to the Temporary capital thereby giving lot of Taxes to Telangana state. 22 associations have made it clear that they do not want to leave Hyderabad before the expiry of the 10-year joint-capital time frame.
Some of them advised the state government that it should try to get an extension of the joint capital status of Hyderabad by another five years. Experts say that the employees are growing adamant with Naidu’s liberal attitude and it is the time to show them his kind of medicine for them.
