Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao received first jolt after forming government in the newly formed state. Namasthe Telangana, the most popular Pro-Telangana Newspaper which played an active role in Telangana movement has tilted towards BJP. CL Rajam, Chairman and Managing director of Namaste Telangana has joined BJP today in the presence of Union Minister Rajnadh Singh. He announced that he is inspired by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is joining the saffron party as a result.
With this move, TRS government will be losing a strong media support at least for now. Namasthe Telangana can not be in favour of TRS government as BJP is fighting against it from the opposition. However, TRS sources say these are too trivial things for KCR. They also revealed that KCR is already thinking on the lines of starting a new Newspaper just like former AP Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy did earlier.
