The Swearing-in Ceremony of Nara Chandrababu Naidu took place near Kesarapalle IT Park near Gannavaram Airport.

The Ceremony is attended by the who-is-who of Delhi Politics – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Gadkari, Ramdas Athawale, Anupriya Patel & Chirag Paswan; Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, NCP leader Praful Patel, Former vice-president Venkaiah Naidu, former Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan, and others.

Unlike in 2014, Chandrababu Naidu is a Kingmaker in Delhi this time. NDA reached the necessary majority only with the Sixteen MPs of the TDP.

During 2014-2019, the BJP tried to occupy the Political Space in Andhra Pradesh by restricting the support to Chandrababu Naidu and at the same time by making the state BJP leaders play the Opposition despite being a part of the Government.

They came together in 2024 even though they are doubts and resistance by the cadre of TDP. BJP tried to arm-twist TDP and Janasena to squeeze seats more than their capacity.

Chandrababu wave and Pawan Kalyan’s support helped the alliance win and the BJP also benefited from that.

But the sixteen MPs changed everything now.

TDP supporters could not forget how Amit Shah said the doors of the NDA were closed forever for Chandrababu. During the election campaign, YSR Congress supporters mocked Chandrababu when Amit Shah left the election meeting before Babu’s speech. Today NDA exists because of TDP support.

Amit Shah arrived in Vijayawada the night before and came to the Swearing-in ceremony venue 40 minutes before.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making Chandrababu sit beside him in all NDA meetings. He has attended the swearing-in ceremony as well.

Things look like changed for the better. Chandrababu did not even insist on Cabinet Berths despite having the bargaining power. All that he needs now is liberal hand-holding by the Central Government in reviving the state.

Hopefully, Modi and Shah will do that without any surprises.
