Modi’s Movie Parked Aside by Censor Board

“Modi Ka Gaon” a film based on the Vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been planned to be released on Friday and the movie had just to take a green signal from Censor Board. But the board has refused to clear the movie pushing the director in great trouble in releasing the movie.

The reasons or the flaws that the board has shown are three. First, the ongoing elections in five states. The board felt that the movie might create a fuzz in the current election season. Next, the lead who played the role of Modi in the film. They say that the actor is too much look alike of the Prime Minister. Last, “Pappu Bihari” a character’s name in the film which resonates with the name of Bihari leader Pappu Yadav.

Producer cited the Censor board for making him almost dump the movie in thrash leaving him no option. He said that the so-called flaws are the essence of the movie and hence he can’t modify them which makes him not to release the movie. It is such a pain for a producer to shelve a movie that has completed its make. Isn’t it?
