Narendra Modi is all set to swear in as India’s 14th Prime Minister on 26th of this month. The ceremony will take place in the forecourt of Rashtrapathi Bhavan. President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will be administering oath by Modi. In the past, only two prime ministers, A B Vajpayee and Chandrashekhar, were sworn in at the Rashtrapati Bhawan forecourt.
Arrangements are being made for 3,000 guests and a vegetarian high tea. The semi-circular seating arrangement from earlier occasions is being replicated. BJP will begin sending invitations to celebrities and NDA allies across the country for the ceremony who directly or indirectly helped BJP win. Earlier in the day, Narendra Modi is elected as BJP’s Parliamentary President and also as the leader of NDA.
