The television channel GRP war will reach a new high with the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana set to enter the elections mood very soon.
In this context, the latest GRP of the leading Telugu news channels is here and here’s a look into the same.
In Hyderabad, TV5 is surprisingly is in the number 1 position with a whopping 86 GRP in the 18th week(most recent) of 2023. The channel is evidently performing pretty well in Hyderabad as the Telugu states head for elections.
ABN has 61 GRP which is again a notable tally. In comparison, YCP’s mouthpiece Sakshi has a mere 10 GRP. The difference is staggering here and it shows the plight of YCP’s Sakshi media.
TV9 and V6 rank 2nd and 3rd with 83 GRP. T News has clocked 74 GRP.
In the combined Telugu states, NTV is continuing to lead the charts in the Telugu states with 63 GRP for the 18th week of 2023. ABN has 26 GRP.
Interestingly, Sakshi, a mouthpiece of the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, has just 11 GRP which is shockingly low, and might also depict the current public trends in the state.
