The Arogya Sri program is seen as a literal lifeline for the economically weaker sections in Andhra Pradesh. But going by the latest developments, there are chances that the Arogya Sri could be halted for good in Andhra Pradesh.
The Association of Speciality Hospitals in AP has written a letter to the Arogya Sri Trust CEO and the contents of this letter are related to the pending dues.
The complaints from the hospital association is such that the government hasn’t been clearing the Arogya Sri bills for the last six months and as a result, they are caught in the cycle of debt.
The association has made it clear that the Arogya Sri program will be halted from the 4th of May in case the pending dues aren’t cleared. The fact that the government hasn’t cleared the bills dating back six months has led to a discussion.
Jagan, who projects himself as a credible leader not being able to clear the Arogya Sri debts and putting the medical aid program at risk of halting and that too 1 week before the AP polls wont paint a good picture of YSR Congress.
