The Jagan-led YCP government had been facing a whole lot of criticism for delaying the salaries in an agonising manner. Government employees have been complaining against the government for the extreme delay in crediting the salaries.
Now, a YCP minister had to face the full effect of the backlash from the employees as his chamber was locked today.
Going into the story, secretariat employees have locked up Minister Chelluboina Venugopalakrishna’s office in the AP Secretariat today.
The employees are complaining that they haven’t received the salaries for the last 8 months and there is no response from the minister himself or the government officials when requested for an update on when they will get the salaries.
The employees vow that they will not open the lock till their salaries are fully paid.
The fact that a minsiter’s office has been locked by the employees over non-payment of salaries shows the dire state of administration in AP, opine a section of netizens.
