Over the last few months, we have been seeing Telangana leaders make some desperate and irresponsible statements about Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
We have seen leaders like Konda Surekha and Raghunandhan Rao making statements in Tirumala about the TTD not accepting the recommendation letters of the Telangana Public Representatives.

Raghunandhan Rao threatened to protest in Tirumala with all Telangana Public Representatives.
This has brought so much bad Press because these leaders are not requesting but are threatening as if they have rights over the TTD.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made an even irresponsible statement, saying that we have our own Yadadri and leaders should not be desperate about TTD letters.
Revanth Reddy’s statement sounded as if he were pitting one god against the other.

There was a huge public outcry in Andhra Pradesh saying that these letters should not be accepted, but Chandrababu Naidu directed the TTD to accept Telangana letters on specified days.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Bandi Sanjay made a sane request for the TTD.
He did not ask for letters, but he asked the officials to expedite the TTD Temple in his Karimnagar constituency.
“On May 31, 20223, a grand ground-breaking ceremony was held for the construction of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Padmanagar under the auspices of TTD. It is unfortunate that the construction of the temple has not taken place. I appeal to start the construction work of the temple as soon as possible and provide spiritual splendor to the Karimnagar area,” Bandi Sanjay wrote to the TTD Chairman.
This is the kind of request the Public Representatives should be making to the TTD.
Recommendation letters are always confined to some people who are privileged. They only serve the cause of the leaders to increase their reputation in the constituency with these letters.
There are some leaders who even do business with these letters.
If the leaders really stand for the spirit of Hinduism, they should make demands for bigger causes like how Bandi Sanjay did now.
It is unfortunate that even the BJP leaders are part of this Recommendation Letters circus.
