Controversial astrologer Venu Swamy attracted criticism often times for his failed predictions about film stars and politicians. He predicted YS Jagan’s victory in the 2024 general elections but after it did not happen, he issued a public apology. However, his over-enthusiastic prediction about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala has landed him in controversy.
Venu Swamy commented that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita will part ways after getting married. He predicted after a few days of them getting engaged.

The Telangana State Commission for Women has issued a summons to celebrity astrologer Venu Swamy to appear before it at 11 am on November 14. This is not the first time that the commission has sent notices, and earlier, he approached the court to get a stay order.
Venu Swamy had challenged the summons from the commission in the high court. However, the court recently lifted the stay order and asked the commission to take necessary action within a week.

After this, the commission has issued a notice for the second time. It has to be seen if he attends the hearing at least now.
