Setting an example for other parties, the Telugu Desam Party has suspended a ITDP (Information Technology Wing of TDP) worker for posting objectionable comments on YSRCP head YS Jagan’s wife, YS Bharathi.
The TDP higher-ups have expressed anger over the comments posted by Chebrolu Kiran. The TDP top brass has made it clear that posting or making such comments on women was simply not permissible. They issued a statement that this disciplinary action was taken to uphold the dignity of women and demonstrate zero tolerance for misconduct of this nature.
Not stopping there, the higher-ups suspended Kiran and directed the leaders to file a case against Kiran. Kiran had posted the comments on YouTube.
The TDP members complained to the police and the Guntur police have filed a case against Chebrolu Kiran. He is likely to be arrested.
The TDP has shown that those who make such comments against women will be punished, irrespective of who it is.
