The Pithapuram Constituency in Kakinada District is buzzing with anticipation as the election results date draws near.
The arrival of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has turned this area into a focal point of political discussion.
Excitement is high, with many eagerly awaiting the results and speculating on Pawan’s chances of victory and the margin by which he might win.
In the months leading up to the elections, people from diverse communities came together voluntarily to support Jana Sena. Notably, many software employees worked remotely from Pithapuram, dedicating their efforts to bring Jana Sena closer to the local people.
On polling day, there was an impressive turnout. Voters of all ages and abilities cast their votes enthusiastically, demonstrating a strong democratic spirit.
The constituency recorded a remarkable 86.63% voter turnout, with 2,04,811 out of 2,36,409 voters participating. The hourly polling percentages were noteworthy: 10.02% by 9 AM, 22.56% by 11 AM, 41.56% by 1 PM, 56.34% by 3 PM, 60.46% by 4 PM, 72.43% by 5 PM, and finally 86.63%.
Debate is now rife about who benefitted from the high voter turnout.
Additionally, discussions are heating up about Pawan Kalyan’s role if the TDP alliance forms the government.
