Oxford Corona Vaccine Effective in Highest-Risk Group

The vaccine triggered protective antibodies and T-cells in older age groups which will substantially decrease the mortality rate due to the contagious virus. This vaccine is the frontrunner in the race to produce a vaccine to protect against COVID-19.

The vaccine most waited for the people across the globe is in news for two unfortunate incidents. Firstly, the trial was halted for a few days after a volunteer reported unexplained illness. Recently, a volunteer in Brazil passed away but the company claims it is not related to the vaccine.

Across the globe, there are 43 Million confirmed Corona cases with 1.15 Million deaths. In India, there are 7.91 Million cases with 119K deaths so far making it one of the worst-affected countries across the globe.
